Pre-select same tab when using the previous/next item navigation in the Panel#412

Often when using the previous/next item navigation in the Panel while editing data, that is not in the first tab, it feels like a missing feature to always have to change the tab again manually.

It’s the same when opening a file from a tab other than the first one and returning to the page using the breadcrumb-nav at the top.

Maybe it would be possible to “save” the opened tab for a certain time, so when returing to that page in this time the tab is preselected?

This would really improve the tab UX imho.

I’d upvote this 100 times if I could. The fact that this isn’t the default behavior feels like a bug to me.

Changing to a tab already adds a query param in the URL (e.g. ?tab=seo), so I would think this is fairly straight forward to implement.

Although it may seem easy, they may not have the same tab when navigating between different templates. This can complicate things a little. I am not sure.
